Bandwidth Calculator
Measure the real wire size of any page and plan your bandwidth, request budget, or storage needs.
Calculators
Enter a page size manually or fetch a URL aboveRequests → Bandwidth
i
Given a page size and number of requests, calculates the total bandwidth consumed. Use this to estimate data transfer for a scraping or proxy workload.
—
Bandwidth → Requests
i
Given a bandwidth cap and page size, calculates the maximum number of requests you can make. Useful for planning request budgets within a fixed data allowance.
—
Pages → Storage
i
Given a page size and number of pages to save, calculates the total disk space required. Useful when caching or archiving crawled pages locally.

About bandwidth planning
When you fetch a web page through a proxy or scraping infrastructure, you consume bandwidth for every byte transferred — response headers plus the compressed body. This tool measures the real wire-level size of a page: the actual bytes sent over the network, not the uncompressed HTML size.
Use the calculators below to estimate total data transfer for a given number of requests, work out how many requests fit within a bandwidth cap, or calculate storage requirements if you plan to save pages locally.
